The Rock of Ages Foundation is a 501(c)3 private foundation established primarily to benefit the people in Texas. Founded in 2010 by Mike and Virginia Brimberry, the foundation provides grants to seniors who are on a limited and fixed income and no private health insurance. These individual grants help pay for prescription drug costs. With a successful career as healthcare practitioners, Mike and Virginia have personally helped many individuals with their medication needs. Rock of Ages Foundation wants to help eliminate the need of an individual having to choose between medicine and food.
 

Mike and Virginia learned from a very young age the importance in helping those in need. The wisest man ever to live (King Solomon) said “if you help the needy, you are lending to the Lord and He will repay you” (Proverbs 19:17).
 

Inspired by fond memories from the past and the passion to help those in need the Brimberrys established the Rock of Ages Foundation. It is our goal to “lighten” the financial burden for seniors having to decide between food and medicine.

The Rock of Ages Foundation is a Christian-based foundation that endeavors to lead by example through practicing it’s belief in the importance of good stewardship by assisting needy seniors. 

Our Vision 

We plan on growing and expanding our geographical area so that no senior has to decide between food and medicine. “For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me….I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!” - Matthew 25:35-40. We look forward to furthering God’s kingdom by giving a helping hand and comforting our senior neighbors that find themselves in need.
